"Written in Our Hearts"
Materials: • An important document birth certificate, marriage license, the Declaration of Independence, diploma, etc. or a copy of one. • A blank piece of paper the same size Song: Love at Home (Hymns, 294) Scripture: Proverbs 3:3; 2 Corinthians 3:3; Mosiah 5:12; D&C 64:22 Lesson: Show the plain piece of paper and ask the students how valuable they think it is. Show them the document and ask how valuable it may be. Application: Why is one piece of paper more valuable than the other? Point out that the main reason is because of what is written on them. Read together one or more of the scriptures above and discuss how Christ can be written in our hearts and what difference it would make to us and to others we come in contact with. Discuss how we can become more valuable to the Lord.
